Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you visit Pickly, our hosting provider and CDN (Cloudflare) automatically log your IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. These are standard server logs used for security, fraud prevention, and aggregate traffic analysis.

We do not require accounts and do not collect personal information through forms. If you email contact@pickly.blog, your message and email address are retained as part of normal correspondence.

Cookies and analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use third-party cookies and does not track you across websites. If we adopt additional analytics in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where required by law.

Affiliate links pass tracking parameters (such as tag IDs and click references) to merchant partners. The merchant may set their own cookies under their own privacy policy when you click. We do not receive personal data from these clicks beyond aggregate commission reports.

Third parties

Affiliate networks we participate in include Amazon Associates, A8.net, Moshimo, ValueCommerce, Rakuten Affiliate, ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, Impact, and Awin. Each operates under its own privacy notice.

Pinterest, where many readers arrive from, has its own analytics and privacy controls. We do not embed Pinterest tracking pixels on Pickly.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA)

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of certain data sharing. To exercise these rights, email contact@pickly.blog. We respond to verifiable requests within 30 days.

We do not sell personal data. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Retention

Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Email correspondence is retained for up to 3 years for support purposes, then deleted.

Updates

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 14 days.
